CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

All participants are required to pay the mandatory Tennis Ireland
CAPITATION FEE of €4 (regardless of number of events entered)

1. The Treasury Holdings Glenalbyn Open is sanctioned and held under the Rules and Regulations of Tennis Ireland. The Tennis Ireland Code of Conduct will be strictly enforced.
Predominantly white tennis attire must be worn.
2. CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES
Entries close at 6PM on SUNDAY 22nd JUNE.

A separate Entry Form must be completed for each player.
Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to Glenalbyn Tennis Club.
3. A TENNIS IRELAND [TI ID] NUMBER IS REQUIRED FOR ALL ENTRIES. Download Registration Form from our website, or from the Leinster Tennis website at: http://www.leinstertennis.ie/userfiles/File/Database/TI_ID.pdf. Once completed, this form should be posted or faxed to Leinster Tennis. Details on Registration Form.
4. Competitors may only enter 3 events. All entries will be accepted at the discretion of the Tournament Committee. The Committee reserves the right to restrict the number of entries in any event or, in the case of insufficient entries, to cancel the event or reduce the prize money.
5. The Tournament will be restricted to Class 2 and below. The Tournament Committee has the right to reclassify &/or exclude any player whose standard is considered above the class for which the player has entered. The minimum age is 16 years by 31/12/2007
6. Entries will not be accepted for competitors who are not available over the weekend. Competitors entered in two or more events MUST be available on SATURDAY JUNE 28TH AND SUNDAY JUNE 29TH.
7. Play will start at 10AM ON SATURDAY 28TH JUNE AND SUNDAY 29TH JUNE AND AT 6PM ON MONDAY 30TH JUNE TO FRIDAY 4TH JULY, or as the Tournament Committee deems necessary.
8. Matches in all events will be decided on the best of three tie-break sets. The advantage rule will be played.
9. Outside courts will be used as required and any match may be played on any surface determined by the Referee.Floodlights will be used as necessary.
10. Tretorn tennis balls will be used.
11. Publication of Draw and times of play
The draw and time of matches for the first weekend will be published in Glenalbyn House from 6PM ON THURSDAY 26TH JUNE and will also be published on the Club’s Web Site: http://www.glenalbyntennis.com .
Players may also check their times of play by ringing 086 6685717 from 10 am on FRIDAY 27TH JUNE AND THROUGHOUT THE TOURNAMENT may check their times of play by ringing 086 6685717. It is the responsibility of players to acquaint themselves with their time of play before the Tournament commences and after each match.
12. Competitors must report to the Tournament office IN GLENALBYN HOUSE - see MAP - a minimum of 15 minutes before their scheduled time of play. Players failing to appear when called may be scratched.
13. Finals will be played on SATURDAY 5TH JULY with the presentation of prizes that evening. All prize-winners are REQUESTED to attend the prize-giving.
14. Glenalbyn Tennis Club/Kilmacud Glenalbyn Sports Club and Sponsors will not be held responsible for any injury, illness or accident on or off the Courts or for any property damaged, destroyed or stolen.
15. In all matters of dispute the decision of the Tournament Referee will be final.
16. No complaint in connection with the conduct of the Tournament can be entertained unless made in writing and lodged with the Tournament Committee within 48 hours of occurrence of the incident.
17. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to add to, or amend, these conditions.
