A fantastic day for Tennis and socially for the club last Saturday with the Championship finals  being played. There were some great matches including a few three setters. Well done to all the winners and runners up who are listed below. This was followed by a BBQ in the conservatory and this finished off a really successful day and indeed a championships as a whole with our biggest entry in years. Special thanks to Peter Kingston for organising the whole event ably assisted by Tom Gallery, Tony O’Byrne and Gary Younger. Huge thanks to Patricia Lynch for her tremendous effort as always organising the BBQ and feeding the masses again and everyone went home well fed. Thanks to all who helped out on the day and brought desserts. Thanks to Fionuala for all the scones which went down well during the day. It was a great team effort.
