Floodlit League - Good start by the Ladies teams

The Ladies have had a good start to the Floodlit League winning 4 out of 6 matches while the men haven’t fared as well. Class 3 team have had a good start losing their first match 2-1 at home to Mt Pleasant, but following it up with two 2-1 away wins against Ashbrook and Brookfield. The Class 4 have had a similar start with two 2-1 wins to Newtown Park and Carrickmines followed by a 2-1 loss away to De Vesci. On the men’s side the teams have come out the wrong side of a number of 3 setters, the Class 3 team haven’t had the best of starts with two 3-0 losses away to Rathgar and Castleknock and a 2-1 loss at home to Naas. .The class 4 team lost their first 3 matches 2-1 at home to Swords and away to Castleknock and David Lloyd and the Class 5 team had two 3-0 losses at home to Sandycove and away to Carraig and a 2-1 loss at home to Kilternan.
