Great start for Teams in the Winter League

Week 3

Another great week this week in the Winter League with 5 wins out of 6 with the Ladies winning all their matches and three of the teams making it 3 wins out of 3. The Class 2 team made it 3 out of 3 with a 3-0 win at home to Castleknock, the Class 3 team won 3-0 at home to Claremount, the Class 5 team again made it 3 out of 3 by winning 2-1 away to Co. Wicklow while the class 6 team also made it 3 out of 3 with a 2-1 win away to Carrick. On the men’s side, the Class 4 lost 2-1 at home to Co. Wicklow while the Class 6 team won 2-1 away to Leixlip. Best of luck to all the teams in this Sunday’s matches

Week 2

More of a mixed bag this week in the Winter League with 3 wins and 3 losses, though all the losses were close matches. The Ladies continued their good start with 3 wins, the Class 2 team won 2-1 at home to Greystones, the Class 3 team lost 2-1 at home to Trinity, the Class 5 team won 3-0 away to Blackrock while the class 6 team won 2-1 away to Stackallen (I didn’t know where it was either, it’s in Slane). On the men’s side, the Class 4 lost 2-1 at home to Clontarf while the Class 6 team lost 3-0 at home to Blackrock. Best of luck to all the teams in this Sunday’s matches. 

Week 1

Fantastic start to the Winter League for both the Ladies and men’s teams with 5 wins out of 6. The Ladies Class 2 team won 2-1 at home to Naas, the Class 3 team lost 3-0 away to Donnybrtook, the Class 5 team won 2-1 away to Greystones while the class 6 team won 3-0 at home to St. Marys. On the men’s side both teams had 3-0 home victories, the Class 4 against Portmarnock and the Class 6 team against Leopardstown. Best of luck to all the teams in this Sunday’s matches.
