Lovely walk around Upper and Lower Lough Bray on Saturday. Bit misty at the start but once it cleared you could see the full views in all their glory. Big turnout of 19 retired to Glencree Reconciliation centre for refreshments afterwards where upstairs they had details of Operation Shamrock which brought German refugee children to the centre in Glencree after the war. One of the photos was of our own Liz O’Gorman making her communion. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. Check out photos from the walk below. We are not sure yet when the next walk will be given that we are heading into the summer months but should have details in the next week or so.
