Senior League - 2 teams through to playoffs

Week 5

Our good run continues in the leagues with two of the Ladies teams through to the playoffs and are playing at home at 14:00 on Sunday in the round of 16. The Ladies Class 3 team lost 2-1 away to Clontarf, the Class 4 won 2-1 away to Greystones and topped their group which means they will play Glasnevin in the playoffs at home on Sunday. The Class 5 team won 3-0 away to Templeogue and also top their group and are through to the playoffs at home on Sunday against Naas. On the men’s side the Class 3 over 35 team won 2-1 away to Shankill finishing third in their group and just missing out on the playoffs while the Class 2 over-55 team lost 2-1 at home to Templeogue and missed the playoffs by a point and also finished third in their group. Best of luck to the two ladies teams in the playoffs.  


Week 4


Another good week in the Senior League with all teams scoring and two teams topping their groups and one in second place, The Ladies Class 3 team lost 2-1 away to Lansdowne, the Class 4 won 3-0 at home to Shankill and top their group while the Class 5 team lost 2-1 at home to LCC but still top their group. On the men’s side the Class 3 over 35 team lost 2-1 at home to Stafford while the Class 2 over-55 team beat Sutton 3-0 away and are sitting second in their group.
